After the meeting is before the meeting.
Pierpaolo and Simona organised this year's Tatra meeting at Lake Bolsena in an exemplary manner and with a great deal of love and dedication. Their efforts were rewarded by a refreshing number of teams.
It takes a great deal of enthusiasm to spend weeks and months fine-tuning a programme, working out routes, making agreements with authorities, municipalities, restaurants and hotels, ordering souvenir gifts, writing invitations and - despite all the calculations - taking a financial risk.
It also takes a great deal of enthusiasm to take on four or more days travelling to and from an event with a two-day outing! A lot of people have travelled with great effort to tow their Tatra on a trailer.
And it was (like every year) a big family celebration, a happy reunion and an entertaining meeting of like-minded people.
We have received an invitation to the Weiz district in Styria for 2025.
Next year's organiser is already having sleepless nights, thinking about the programme, how best to present his home region, sketching out routes, negotiating with hotels, restaurants, museums, sightseeing operators...
This much is certain: it will pay off to be part of the 45th International Tatra Meeting from Thursday, 29 May to Sunday, 1 June 2025!
