For the first time in their history, the Tatra Friends accepted the invitation of a hostess. This even triggered a change of mood in the weather gods - after 40 rainy days, the 43rd International Tatra Meeting took place in the Styrian Enns valley in dry weather, even with sunshine.
Tatrováci poprvé ve své historii přijali pozvání hostesky. To spustilo i změnu nálady bohů počasí - po 40 deštivých dnech se ve štýrském údolí Enns za suchého počasí i se sluníčkem konal 43. mezinárodní tatranský sraz.
The focal point was the country hotel "Häuserl im Wald" in Mitterberg, a small town between Gröbming and Öblarn, which for a few days became the place with the greatest concentration of Tatras in Austria.
Ústředním bodem byl venkovský hotel „Häuserl im Wald“ v Mitterbergu, městečku mezi Gröbmingem a Öblarn, které se na několik dní stalo místem s největší koncentrací Tater v Rakousku.
No fewer than 28 teams came to this meeting, the starting field offered a wide range of Tatra vehicles as well as a rare six-seater Gendarmerie Haflinger and a pretty MG B.
Na tento sraz se sjelo ne méně než 28 týmů, startovní pole nabídlo širokou škálu vozů Tatra i vzácný šestimístný četnický haflinger a pěkný MG B.
The first trip led to Strechau Castle, where, in addition to an exhibition on the Reformation and Counter-Reformation, an impressive number of Steyr vehicles were also on display.
První cesta vedla na hrad Strechau, kde bylo kromě výstavy o reformaci a protireformaci k vidění také impozantní množství vozidel Steyr.
For the excellent lunch, our vehicles gathered at the Ödensee, one of the smaller lakes in the Salzkammergut.
Na vynikající oběd se naše vozidla sešla u Ödensee, jednoho z menších jezer v Salzkammergut.
Finally, there was a break for coffee and cake in Öblarn.
Strengthened like this, the last few kilometers back to the hotel were easy.
Nakonec byla v Öblarn přestávka na kávu a dort.
Takto posílený bylo posledních pár kilometrů zpět do hotelu v pohodě.
The next day took us along picturesque paths to Ramsau am Dachstein.

Další den nás zavedl po malebných stezkách do Ramsau am Dachstein.

From the parking lot we took a bus to the Dachstein-Südwandbahn, which took us 998 m up to the mountain station at 2700 m.
